Motivational issues

I don’t have the motivation to do much. It all seems like too much effort. It’s a long term thing so I’m not sure it’s wholly meds related as it was there before I was taking meds regularly .
I suspect though that meds don’t help much with it.

Some medications aggregate existing symptoms more than others do. Some medications are notorious for their lack of motivation such as haldol. Have you ever considered supplements such as sarcosine?

I am not sure I can get sarcosine in the UK.

Brain vitamins the sponsor of the site does. Think positive not negative.

Went to order from there but found it’s $15 shipping fee to the UK .

Maybe your Testosterone levels are low?

I heard that low Testosterone levels can reduce motivation - I have low T levels and very little motivation.

you could buy in bulk if it works maybe

I have no motivation either, I just want to sleep all day. I even have had coffee today.

Like the Nike slogan says, 'just do it." When I think about work, I often think of how I have to lug myself out of bed, shower, shave, get dressed and drive 30 minutes to my work site. But everyday I go and I do what I need to do. It is one thing I’ve been good at (plus the money incentive helps as well). I’ve lagged on the exercise though, will probably need a training buddy or personal trainer to get me to the gym consistently. Sz meds zaps your motivation and while easier said than done, just do it!

Am tempted to go down the sarcosine route but the £15 shipping charge to the UK is putting me off. Also the fact that benefits are up in the air at the moment and not sure if I can justify it if I don’t get PIP and see a big drop in income.

You can try order from powdercity.com. The shipping is cheaper and you can get 10% discount too.

That does look cheaper but will wait to see how benefits go.
