This is another summertime lampshade that started out beige, and old, and I used poster board colored paper with magic markers to draw butterflies, and then the leaves are tape that I used to hold down the poster board. It does not have a lamp stand yet. Total cost out of pocket: $4
This one I did today, it is inspired and for everyone who is a night owl like me. I got the brand new lamp at the referral center in town for one dollar, and had to take the plastic off the shade. I then painted it night sky, and the owls are also a roll of tape. It was tricky making the square tape go on a round lamp, so it is creased in spots. Total cost out of pocket: $2
