Hello, moderators. I keep getting a pop-up that says “We appreciate your enthusiasm for posting but since this is your first day, you are limited in the number of posts. Please wait 2 hours to post” or something to that effect. I am not posting that much and this isn’t my first day. Can you fix this?

Not a moderator, but this is a restriction on new users that goes away after a week or two of regular participation. You can still reply to people, I believe.

I think it is a restriction that prevents new people that may not be trustworthy from spamming the forum, and perhaps preventing bots from spamming the forum too.
Eventually the restrictions will go away once you build your trust level.
That is correct. It was a huuuuge problem before this feature appeared.

Hi. Most people are automatically bumped up to membership status within a couple weeks. Since you have been participating here for a month, I manually bumped you up. Sometimes the system lets people fall through the cracks. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
