I remember back in the late eighties that the Oakland A’s had the American League Rookie of the Year, three years in a row. And that was Jose Canseco in 1986, Mark McGuire in 1987, and a shortstop named Walt Weiss in 1988. Me and my dad used to drive to Sacramento and listen to A’s games on the radio.
I have fond memories of those days even though I was having a relapse. (hmmm, that sounds a little weird).

I think I used to have a Walt Weiss baseball card. He was leaping over someone or someone was leaping over him? Maybe at 2nd base?

When does MLB season start? I get most the games I want cause they always play the Toronto blue jays. I also like the red Sox. I used to have a 1947 red Sox hat

I like the Cincinnati reds. live close to Cincinnati in Indiana. been to the stadium to see a game 30-40 times in my life. now that im getting older I prefer to watch the game on tv as opposed to driving through city traffic to watch a ballgame. that said Im kinda looking for a new team because im blacked out from watching reds games on mlb.tv. I can watch any other team though. it’s just hard to make the switch to a new team after all these years of blind loyalty.
