Minimalism

I’m a minimalist for about 4 years. Reason was a move. Now it has come to an end and I’m happier with fewer stuff. I like the new order very much! I think it can help become healthy.

I’m getting ready to move, been selling and getting rid of stuff for weeks now, slowly thinning out and I have some cash from it

only way to go imo

Minimalism…, From The Sky to The Soil…, Who Speaks For Me?.. :pensive:

Yeah. I’m digitizing most of my stuff. Travel light in my new motto.

I don’t own a cellphone…I call them ‘electronic leashes’. I’m quite content without it, although most people think I’m weird for not having one.

I figure if I do need one in an emergency, everyone in the world has one, so I’ll just borrow one to make that important call.

Minimalism is one the many features of Zen Buddhists. I used to follow this teaching. But as I get older, I started to be attached to those items carrying the memories of my life. Should have thrown some of them into the rubbish bin.

I’m attracted to minimalism too. I can fit all my clothes into one suitcase and my husband and I have only a few items of furniture only what we need.

I have a weakness for collecting books though!

I have a weakness for bycicles, laptops or mobile phones. I want to have one in reserve.
