Why would you give anybody flowers They have been cut off from life It will soon die on you And why would you give them for a happy occasion Wouldn’t you rather give something like a live plant That has life and grows Driving and celebrating.

Very few people are capable of taking care of plants.
Flowers can give you joy on their own. They don’t require as much care taking.
And flowers die either way.

I like flowers, some times. But I have expressed that very same sentiment enpugh that when my husband buys me flowers he buys the plant.
Of course, that means I have one more thing to murder.
