Audobon means bird museum. It has trails. There’s many Audobon museums I believe at least nationwide

great, Jon.
I want us to take Eliza girl up to Palisades Hiking trail.
it’s in or near Mt Vernon, Iowa, about 45 miles away,
but worth the trip. it’s right on the Cedar River,
the kind you can walk out into.
last time we went though, I heard gun shots in the distance.
hope the ducks survived.

When I hear palisades I think of New Jersey. But then remembered you’re in Iowa haha

Have you ever been out here?? We have a nice mix of beach and hills and forests and mountains. One of my favorite hiking preserves has a prairie area then it has a forest area then a beach area it has it all.

no, I’ve never been North on East Coast. just to Florida.
my dad lives there. he used to have a condo on New Smyrna Beach.
Paradise, minus the hurricanes.

I’ve only been to Michigan and Wisconsin. The big state schools. Ann Arbor and Madison as far as Midwest. I’ve flown through Chicago. But never stayed in Illinois or anything. Never stepped foot out the airport

Maquoketa Caves is twenty miles from me, it’s a big one.
kids like to go mud stomping in there too.
then there’s other small ones in the state.
we’ve been to em, me and kids.

I met this friend in the hospital he’s had psychosis we’ve hung out 3-4 times since last March we always have a good time I hope he comes before the thunderstorms

If he lived closer we’d hang out more

I used to be in a hiking club and loved it. But I stopped because I was being followed. Nature is so beautiful. I miss it.
