I’m so tired of this.

Why don’t we ever talk about how horrible meth is?

That ■■■■ causes like instant psychosis and we don’t ever talk about that.

We rarely even talk about the dangers of addictive/damaging drugs like alcohol and opioids.

So much hate for cannabis.

I would be on hard drugs if it weren’t for cannabis.

I wouldn’t have finished my education without cannabis.

Everyone’s experience is different, I know that.

But I still think people like to blame cannabis for more than it’s due

Maybe a rare few think they become addicted or have psychosis or some other complication.

However most people just enjoy it.

I smoked pot for the first two months i was medicated and felt awful. It brought on paranoia. And to the comment above about meth. Yes meth is bad. But pot is easily accessible and damaging nonetheless.

I know how much you love cannabis lol
Cannabis is the only drug I did and its legal here. I never tried illegal drugs and will never do. Anyways cannabis gave me temporary psychosis before sz and after sz it makes my symptoms worse.

Did you study while being high? Please explain!

My sister has schizophrenia too and can’t smoke pot.

Makes her suicidal.

I’m not saying cannabis is only fun and should be used by everyone,

Just saying it doesn’t deserve all the hate.

I can’t really discuss it without getting in trouble.

Well maybe because of its ease of access and cultural acceptance opposed to walking up to a sketchy meth dealer lol.

Theres psychosis warning labels on all the weed here from the stores

Uh, pretty sure I’ve consistently talked here about how damaging booze has been to me.

@shutterbug, yes you do speak about your recovery often.

And we do talk about alcohol, but not as much in comparison.

Everyone,

I’d super love to continue the conversation and such,

But if I say one more good thing about this relatively safe, legal and, in my case, doctor approved medication,

I’m going to get in trouble.

However,

You guys feel free to continue trash talking cannabis.

That’s totally allowed and encouraged.

Some people love marijuana. If it’s possible they stay stoned constantly. I never enjoyed the high from marijuana. It doesn’t make me feel good. Alcohol was my drug of choice, but all my days of inebriation are behind me.

Not gonna lie, I’m a little butthurt that cannabis and my brain chemistry don’t mix very well.

It used to be an enjoyable activity— something I would take part in socially, but most often after juggling a full college courseload, studying, and the gym at the end of each day. And sometimes several times throughout the day as well .

Honestly, I had my shiit together during those times. Probably for the first and only time in my life.

But the highs started turning on me— bugging out became more of a regular occurrence, until it was suddenly every single time I imbibed. And then that bugged out feeling would linger long after the high dissipated.

Last time I smoked pot was I think back in 2016– two years after my initial psychosis.

And holy shnikes did it not go well.
