Made it to the DMV today

My license expired on my birthday, March 11th. They wanted me to take a written test and a vision test to renew it. I’ve been putting it off. I went in and requested a temporary extension today because I’ve been driving around for a month with an expired license. I got my extension for another month. The place was packed but I handled it. I’ve got a month to study for the test. The people at the DMV were a freak show. I’ve read the post on pictures from you guys. I tell you, guys you look more normal than most of the people I saw there today.

I also went to the assistant manager and discussed the neighbor problem. I got a warning for stomping on the floor. I went to the manger to tell her MY side of the story. It went well. I told her I acted wrong but my neighbors aren’t innocent. I said I feel threatened by my neighbor going crazy downstairs. I said the lady is the one who initiated violence, not me. The manager said it is never appropriate to threaten another resident. She asked if I think the lady knows what she’s doing. I said I’m not sure but if she is trying to make me mad its working. My sisters keep saying she
is an old lady. I said hey, I’ve been confronting the men in my complex for acting like fools. That answer did not get the reaction I expected .They said I should not threaten ANYBODY. So I won’t anymore. Until the next time.

WOW do I hate the DMV! It always takes FOREVER! :weary:

I made an appointment. I stood in line for two minutes, then they gave me a number. I sat and waited for 7 minutes then they called my number. I took a vision test for 5 minutes (passed), then got my picture taken. I was in and out in twenty five minutes.

Not bad! I think everytime I’ve been to the DMV it has taken 2 to 3 hours atleast!

Call ahead of time next time and make an appointment. It’s easy.

You don’t even have to call. Here in California you cam make an appointment online on the DMV website.
