Love to love to love…

On this day of celebrating our love for others, let us not forget our love for ourselves! I just made this thread because I wanted to convey this message to you all. What do you love about yourself? Have a wonderful day or hopefully as good as a day as you possibly can :v::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::octopus:

OK what do I love about me? I love all the lines on my palms. I have loads.

Omg this is really difficult to do.

I like some stuff about me but it’s uncomfortable to say out loud…

What about you?

My social worker is always telling me that I’ve lived such a hard life. At least it was harder years ago. And during all that hardship i never faltered. I might have been knocked off the horse a few million times but I kept on getting back on.

Your social worker sounds good. I’m glad you have that support and care. Yea you are strong.

I always used to call myself a samurai warrior. Lol. I try to never give up if possible :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That’s something to love about yourself. I’m aiming for more self care in this new year.

It’s hard to compliment myself but I think that overall I’m a kind compassionate person.
At least I try to be

Oh cool. Well just go at your own pace with that. Whatever feels comfortable is best

I suck at self care. I really try and try but it’s constantly a disaster. Oh well, I keep trying.

Antipsychotics make things more effortful.

So I don’t beat myself up about it too much

Yes- the antipsychotics definitely make things more difficult and sometimes at times more complicated. I’ve been taking them now for over a decade and I have started in the last few months doing stuff like brushing my teeth every day, so I feel like that’s a beginning. Baby steps for me lol
