My heaviest was in August when I weighed around 335lbs, but now I’m down to 280lbs. Medication change really helped. The combination of haldol and caplyta has been great for being able to achieve weight loss. Also, being put on adderall has helped, too, by surpressing appetite.
I did this by watching what I ate, but more importantly, limiting my portion sizes to as minimal as possible. Furthermore, cutting out snacks, desserts, and unnecessary sugar and quick carbs have helped tremendously.
But this is not what I want to stay at for weight. My goal is to hit 180lbs. To do this, I will start walking anywhere between 8,000-10,000 steps a day. Additionally, I will workout everyday, interchanging between HIIT workouts and jogging for 30 minutes. I know I can do this because I have done this before, but hopefully this time it doesn’t end in anorexia and a psychotic break.
It sounds like you have a reasonable plan and goals.
I have also had eating problems + psychosis before. They said my blood had ketones in it, which I am not sure but might be to do with the weight I was and what I was eating
Congrats on the significant weight loss. I lost 60 or so pounds on Geodon and am thin now. It suppresses my appetite. Crazy how much meds can affect your weight.
Yeah just found it funny. As i thought you were talking about money. But gives a clue. I suppose. And then it doesnt. My bodies changed so much on psych meds. Honestly. Im size 14 on top and used to be an 6 to 8. 10 on bottom or lower. Im really feeling odd af. But meds change loads how you loose or put it on. And where. Like disapearing brown fat that helps burn calories, speed of metabolism. Stretch marks i have loads. And hormonal problems like hair growth or loss of hair. Etc. I feel for you.
