I’ve got a constricted throat and I want to throw up when I hold my mouth open so I can’t go to the dentist. My pdoc won’t prescribe medication for my throat constriction until I go to an ENT who will want me to have an endoscopy. First I have to have a covid test. And I have no one to drive me to the ENT and home which is required by the clinic because I have no family nearby. I have a hole in one tooth and the other feels dead. I’m running out of time, they will break or get infected. I shouldn’t be alone, I’m too sick, I should be with family but we were never a close family. Meanwhile, I’m brushing and flossing. I need all my teeth, I can’t swallow my food hardly at all as it is.

Im sorry to hear youre going through such a hard time…maybe doing a saline mouth rinse several times a day can help with your oral health…just an idea although i know your main issue probably goes beyond that.

Can you take an Uber?
I’ve got to have someone who knows me to sign me in and out of the office of the endoscopy and colonoscopy clinic. When you have voices who try to get you to commit suicide every day and it seems like they might be right, it’s hard to take care of yourself.

You need to ask for a support worker to assist you with things like this
I’m sorry @Jinx that’s awful. I know how crap it can be to go to dentists. My teeth are in awful shape as it is. I have sensitive gag reflex too so they can’t take x rays as a result they have to pull my teeth out instead of working on them
It sucks! I wish our teeth couldn’t rot!
@Jinx I hope you get the help you need soon. I also find it hard to open my mouth and cope with the gagging. feeling. My teeth are bad by UK standards,which males them very bad by USA standards.
