Hello, My name is Kassie I am looking for Anyone who is on Invega or Anyones who knows about this medicine? My mom was diagnosed with schizopherenia 14 years ago, and i have been her caregiver for the most part of my life. Lately her hallucinations have tramendously progressed over the last several months, causing her to be hospitalized about 2 weeks ago. She is currently home now and today we went back to her regular doctor, which suggested that we take her off her Haloperidol and try this new Invega Sustenna. I asked if i could get a little bit more information about it. So any suggestions or Opnions about this would be extremely helpful. Thank You
My son is 24 years old, he was on Invega Sustenna (154mg) for a year and a half. His first month, he had the two initial injections and 30 days of Zyprexa (30mg). He did well until he decided he no longer needed medication. He was off for about six months and is now back on it at a higher dose (234mg), I don’t see the same results as before so he might need his medication changed. We will see.

I’ll talk with a doctor first
It is an extended release pill
That’s my main complaint otherwise
Very little side effects for me
