Yeah I have it, my heart goes wonky and skips beats, really scary. Im on Invega and lexapro

Do you have that @Joker ?

@Newlyborn , have they prescribed you a med to regulate your heart rhythm?

No, pdocs neglect this side effects

But it’s your primary dr who should take care of you. When was your last annual physical?

It turns out not @LilyoftheValley

I read the clinical letter, and the pdoc has now backtracked and said it’s not a concern

It’s the higher end of the range, but it has improved slightly since coming off Amisulpride

Have another ECG booked to confirm

Oh, you’d be surprised how long you can live with it.

Oh good. It’s better to be safe than sorry

I have a prolonged QT. It’s not invasive to my life yet. Just have to be careful how much caffeine I drink.

I mean I doubt there is a med for that, especially when its constantly caused by some strong psychiatric medication. Eithet way, heart meds can have a really strong side effects like dizziness and sedation

Beta blockers are prescribed for this.

I haven’t been on strong medication for some years, but was given beta blockers because of QT-related concerns from Geodon when I was on it. My pacemaker also provides additional protection from torsades.

Haven’t experienced sedation yet in thirty years of heart meds. Dizziness, absolutely.

I’m on a beta blocker for tachycardia
My heart will skip beats when I drink too much coffee.

I really ought to see a cardiologist

I also have an enlarged heart and atherosclerosis

I heard betablockers can cause sexual dysfunction, I am already on 2 castrating meds, not sure if I need a 3rd one.

I nookied just fine on them for years - the wife had no complaints. Having some functioning issues at the moment, but not related to heart medications.
