not all solutions are found in substances…for me the best therapies for depression happen in nature and the tools I use. from aromatherapies, burning incense and sage smoke, to meditation and music.
You could try Kanna, sceletioum tortousom, some people use it recreationally others use it in milder doses as an antidepressant.
I used it recreationally, its still legal, but i gave my batch away because i started an MAO-i and you cant take Kanna while on MAO-i because of serotonin toxicity.
Or kratom, i think there was a thread about kratom for a while ago
I remember valerian root being pretty useful for my anxiety.

I’m very anti intoxicant type person. I have to be. Funny you should say anxiety because that’s gotten better for me big time. I usually want to smoke pot for relaxation. But it’s not legal here and I don’t care to get medical marijuana ( it is very easy to get a card here ). I’ve smoked it before and no longer like it. I’ve wanted cigarettes lately.
Start with basic nutrition, look at your diet and what vitamins and minerals you’re getting or not getting. Then look at removing toxins like alcohol and drugs, processed sugar etc.
Get the basics right before you go shopping for extras.
cbd helps me a bit aswell. I smoke weed that is high in cbd, and maybe .1% thc. It’s prefferable to find cbd weed that has 0% thc though, just to be on the safe side.
Just get your vitamin levels checked and don’t be overweight. Those are the basics. Not a complete diet overhaul or avoiding everything currently considered unhealthy.

I also vape CBD and take anxiety meds. CBD has helped a lot. Like the guy above me said. Some of it has a less than 1% THC content to keep it legal. I used one and got a small buzz. Now I buy the 100% CBD because smoking THC scares me.
I agree that exercise can help. But if you have anxiety it will come back after a short period. I lay down when I feel very anxious and vape my CBD pen. I don’t really think eating healthy has anything to do with anxiety. I eat relatively healthy and I still have tons of anxiety. I’m gonna ask my doctor to up my meds when I talk to him again
