Well I’ve been on a LOA from work using FMLA since March 1st. I was supposed to go back today but the stress was too much. Now I want to go back on Friday but now HR says I can’t return to work till my doctor fills out the FMLA paperwork and clears me to return to work. Which my doctor isn’t in the office till next week. I see her on Monday and she can fill out the forms then. So I’ve been on FMLA for a long time now. It’s gonna be a financial burden on me too.

Yes it stands for Family Medical Leave Act. In the USA it’s protected leave you can take from work where they can’t fire you for missing work.

Oh nice. In canada i had to get a couple of letters from the hospital. They wrote for my time off and for a gradual return to work.
