My main medications for my schizophrenia are Geodon and Wellbutrin, but I still have episodes where I get actively psychotic on the medication and I always have prominent negative symptoms. Today my doctor added Latuda to my scripts and I will still be taking the Geodon and Wellbutrin too. Has anyone had any experience with Latuda positively contributing to their treatment as a second AP?
i took latuda first then my old pdoc added invega as a second ap. but they didn’t work. Then i switched doctors and they put me on latuda and haldol. They work better.
I’ve been doing well on Geodon and Seroquel. If it ain’t broke, I don’t want to fix it.
I take latuda as my second ap it works for me and no side effcts too
Thanks my doctor told me to take it at night and it willl help with sleep too but reading about it says take it with food so that’s kinda conflicting but I will try it tonight one way or another and will hopefully notice something tomorrow.
The first prescription medication I ever took was Latuda and it turned me manically violent. I was resolved to spend life in prison as I felt it was safer for everyone at that point. While in jail I refused to take it & any other medications and I recovered quite heavily the entire time I was in. It was great.
