Today was the last day of school this semester for me. We showed off the game we made over the semester in front of everyone. Everyone liked our game, although it was a bit glitchy. Hopefully I will do well in all of my classes. I was really worried about my grades this time. I keep thinking terrible things will happen to me depending on what grades I get. I know it doesn’t make sense, but I just feel that way.
It was also someone’s birthday, so we ate cake along with playing each other’s games. Our game was probably the least popular. I don’t think I’m very good at making games, although I did a lot of scripting this time around. I did most of the scripting for the entire game. I coded how the player shoots and how the enemies move. I coded the dialogue too, how the dialogue was played and how the dialogue was displayed in the game.
I was up last night until about 2 am trying to fix a glitch in our game. I really cut things to the last minute. I think things went well though. Thank you to everyone who tried to encourage me to stay in school in spite of what the voices were saying. I probably would have quit if people didn’t encourage me. So thanks.
