Lamictal >?

Hello, does anyone use this medicine?
What do you know about it?

Cheers

I have been on Lamictal at a low dose - 50mg for a while now.
Lamictal is a great drug to be on if you suffer from depression - in my case bipolar depression.
If someone cannot take a traditional antidepressant, like an SSRI - Lamictal is a good choice, especially if you suffer from depression and some mania, Lamictal is an anticonvulsant/mood stabilizer, usually given to depressed bipolar patients, but it is also used with schizoaffective disorder when depression is an issue.

I can only take low doses of it, because it tends to activate me and make me manic at doses over 50 mg - but not everyone reacts to it negatively at higher doses. Its a good med with not a lot of side effects. It is possible to get a Lamictal rash, and there is a more serious - rare rash that sometimes comes a long with this med - Stevens Johnson Syndrome - not so common occurrence.
It helps ease my depressive episodes - its a good med at the right doses

I also take the drug I have been on 100 mg for a while now. I can’t tell if it’s working or not, my doctor has me n Wellbutrin as well and I am still depressed and he says he is not increasing the dose because increasing the dose of any med will cause more hallucinations and delusions.

thanks about the answers
my diagnose is paranoid shizophrenia, and my doctor gives me lamictal
like antidepression

I cant say that there is any difference

cheers guys
