L-theanine was the problem?

So as I’m taking my mountain of pills this morning, out of curiosity I decided to look up if l-theanine has anything to do with seratonin and apparently it can act as a precursor to it! I wondered if the high dose of it I was taking was impacting my bladder in any way. So I didn’t take any today and my bladder has been NOTICEABLY LESS irritated. I haven’t even felt the irritation today. So it possibly wasn’t the geodon at all doing it. I really hope this is the case and will continue to observe! But interesting to note.

I heard that it’s a dopamine precursor… watch below (jump to the 3 minute, 56 second mark of the video) to hear this Dr’s comments about l-theanine

I cannot confirm this statement.

Wikipedia says “Theanine increases serotonin, dopamine, GABA, and glycine levels in various areas of the brain”

I’ve also read through some forums of people who tried l theanine and some had the same issues with urination as me but I can’t find anyone else who got urination issues from geodon.

Well that is good that you found an answer to your problem. I guess adding another pill to the mix wasn’t the way to go.
