I’ve been on L-theanine for few days, but it doesn’t seem to work for dopamine release.
I’m just wondering if L-tyrosine or something else is better option? My pdoc appt isn’t until after two months so I can’t really ask for wellbutrin
L Theanine does work on dopamine.
L Tyrosine does too.
I’m on Wellbutrin, and I am taking L-theanine. I’d be careful about raising your dopamine. It’s easy to overshoot the mark. I’ve been taking L-theanine for at least a month. It makes me sleep more than I used to. I’m waiting patiently to see if it removes my anxiety. It might take awhile.
low dose nicotine releases dopamine
I’m drinking quite a lot of coffee, but it only works a little
maybe google natural ways. I find activities (e.g. exercise) work better than pills.
for example instead of taking a suppliment alone, ‘do something’ to increase it like:
- Eat Less Saturated Fat. …
- Consume Probiotics. …
- Exercise Often. …
- Get Enough Sleep. …
- Listen to Music. …
- Meditate.
If your after dopamine to beat boredom because medication is boring you to death, sadly theanine won’t do the trick. No legal supplements help, I’ve tried tyrosine and everything, they don’t touch it.
The bad news is cocaine works and marijuana does too because they release dopamine in the thousands. Please don’t take these substances because it’s bad. I’ve been there. Maybe marijuana but make sure it has cbd with it.
Abilify made me so dead bored I was addicted to crack cocaine and strong marijuana just to get some emotional feelings. That’s the way this crap goes.
Your dopamine receptors are probably fried if you’re relying on crack cocaine and “strong marijuana” to get a dopamine rush.
Nicotine does it for me, so does caffeine. I dont like L Theanine but L Tyrosine works just as well.
