I still like the form practice scene from “The One” with Jet Li. Maybe that’s because I’ve spent more time in my life doing attempts at form practice than actual sparring:

I did my little form again today. I did it at least a couple of times today. I remember doing a form many times in the middle of the night outside, decades ago. Is somebody else going to report doing part of a form, like a grasp the bird’s tail or a Tai Chi -style push? This is the third time I’ve posted, in a row, I think. I also recall liking part of “Forbidden Kingdom” with Jet Li and Jackie Chan when a young man finally decides to practice his staff form regularly in the middle of the night, I think. But, I’m having trouble finding a YouTube video of that one.
