Its kind of like if you know the underpinnings of a magic trick then it spoils the fun
What about, “knowing more about A.I. makes people more open to having it in their lives”.
- Pattern recognition
- Language translation
- Natural Language Processing
- Speech Recognition
- Forecasting & Prediction
- Anomaly Detection
- Personalized Recommendations
- Code Review (Checking Algorithms)
These artificial intelligence and or machine learning abilities take advantage of the NPUs (Neural Processing Unit) such as Nvidia’s CUDA processors which are the cornerstone of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
I admit I don’t know much about AI, but I have a Chat GPT subscription to help me with homework. It helps me break down dense academic texts and will quiz me on what I’ve read. If I don’t understand a concept, Chat GPT will help explain it to me as many times as I need in different ways until I get it.
I don’t know much about its programming/system side beyond bits , but I still don’t trust it.
It’s good for maths, pretty damn good but I still don’t fully trust it.
I know that within the next 5 to 10 years, A.I. will be a part of our everyday lives whether we choose to accept A.I. or reject A.I. For example, banks have already implemented “pattern recognition” and “anomaly detection” for a majority of customer transactions. A.I. can detect or alert unknown or unauthorized transactions that are unusual from the norm. Social Media websites and or apps have “personalized recommendations” to customize product advertisements to entice users to buy goods & services from websites we frequent or shop from.
I actually got helpful advice for a program I’m developing. My IDE has it built in and it can autocomplete lines.
No code will get better over time. You will be able to spin up your personalised ai agent for whatever domain needed pretty soon. Thatll crush all the chatgpt wrapper product peeps
I see the future of the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) being phased out slowly in the next 20-years in favor of the downloadable app from an app store. In China, Chinese characters are used where some latin alphabet letters are inputted into the web site bar. Smartphone usage has already taken over PC/laptop usage with Google Android on a Samsung smartphone have a large market share worldwide. Apps are now being loaded into IoT (Internet of Things) such as smartwatches & Smart Displays. I believe there is even a Chat GPT app available for download.
This article is right. I know next to nothing about AI and I am fascinated by it.
