Klonopin/clozenopam

It really really helps me. The problem is my pro. Is weening me off it. What’s the best way to approach her and stress I really need it? I fear off it I’ll be hospitalized.

The problem with benzos is it’s a crap shoot as to whether a doctor will allow you to have them or not.

You could be on them, then switch doctors and the new doctor could take you off them.

It’s unlikely you can change their mind.

I use L-theanine as a benzo substitute.

That’s ■■■■■■ up. I’m switching docs.

If you’re considering changing doctors solely because they won’t prescribe you benzos,

You might have a problem.

That’s drug seeking behavior.

The problem with abortive anxiety medication is that it loses effectiveness over time and all of them are incredibly addictive. Have you tried an every day anxiety prevention med like gabapentin or buspar? It might be more effective as a long term solution.

Benzos arent meant for long term anxiety management. They’re meant for acute panic attacks.

Talk to your doc about other options to reduce anxiety. I am a big fan of DBT after my recent partial hospitalization.

Oh yeah, I forgot hydroxizine is great for anxiety but it makes you sleepy until you yet used to it. Its basically benadryl.

I’m on buspar. I don’t think it’s doing anything.

I take them twice a day and have for a long time.

My doctor trusts me with them,

Yours doesn’t.

Thanks for reminding me about hydroxyzine.

I’m concerned for you. Twice a day is steep and may be a sign of a drug addict.

I think I’m going to go with my pdocs opinion. I’m going to stay off the klonopin. I’ll ask for hydroxyzine. Anything is better than being a drug addict.

I think you’re just trying to insult me and that’s not cool, little homie.

You’ll stay off the klonopin because you won’t find a doctor that will prescribe it with that attitude.

Good luck with hydroxyzine.

What are you talking about?

I’m talking about you calling me a drug addict, clearly.

I think we are having a misunderstanding. Are you ok?

You don’t remember writing this?

My point was not to be accusatory. It was simply to extrapolate on the possibility that twice a day could lead to be addicting. You seem to have a chasm in your mind between those two completely different intentions. Mine was simply a point out that it’s a possibility.

I see.

You need to be more careful with the way you write things.

That could be it. The other possibility is that subconsciously you feel guilty that you take them twice a day. The drug addict bit hit a little close to home I think. Generally if somebody gets so easily triggered that’s why. I’d recommend working on being offended less easily.
