The company is hoping for approval in 12-15 months in USA. Then insurance organizations decide if and how they will pay for it. Cost estimate $1500 a month.
There are still some phase 3 clinical trials running now.

What i dont understand, why insurance organisations have to pay for it ?
The company has to spend many, many millions of dollars to run clinical trials on the new med. They get the money back by charging high prices. Most patients can not afford to pay, so insurance, both private and government, pays the high prices. Insurance controls costs by limiting coverage.
Some countries only approve the new meds if they can obtain a low price. The USA ends up paying very high prices for the new meds.
