Just went for blood test

Just went for blood tests. Getting increasingly worried as my GP suspects its a case of IBD. I’m getting blood there and more frequently so. I am always bloody tired and struggle to find the energy to work. And the sight of food makes me nauseas.

Yes I guess it could be Inflammatory Bowel Disease - Crohn’s - Ulcerative Colitis - But their are treatments for these illnesses - It might also be some sort of virus - or a bacterial infection etc…
I know it is hard, but try to distract yourself as much as possible during the discovery process.

I had some sort of virus or reaction to Greek yogurt - I had on off nausea - and intestinal issues for months - I even had some blood in my stool - Hang in there @anon80629714 - It might turn out to be nothing serious

Hopefully it all will sort itself out in the wash…One of my late grandmother’s sayings.

Hopefully it’s nothing too serious and will dissipate very quickly for you.

Be extra good to yourself in the meanwhile and try not to work to hard.

Turns out that I went to my doc abut this issue five years prior and I had a sigmonoindoscopy done but it doesn’t go further up in the bowel to find anything

Do you have anyone you can talk to about this @anon80629714? Just I’d hate to think of you going through this alone. .

Yes I have my family support but i feel its hard fro anyone to understand unless they’ve been through it. They are helping me the best they can… reminding me to eat every few hours but I don’t think they understand that I find it very difficult to eat because I always feel full.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I have Diverticulousos(sp?) and IBS. It can get bad sometimes to where I have bloody diarrhea and cramps. I’ve gone to the ER before because I was losing so much blood, and it was just bad. Recently it’s been better though. I don’t know exactly what you’re going through but I know stomach issues suck. I hope they find out what’s going on. :sun_with_face:

Sounds like they carer. Cause keeping your strength up is a good thing. I do understand how frustrating it would be though.

Hopefully your doctor can shed some light on what’s going on with you extremely fast.

If you are out and about maybe buy yourself something like a bunch of your favourite flowers. I think you deserve at least that much.
