what can i expect? I’m not looking for miracles. am i supposed to feel it the first day?
Had a strange effect on me, at first I thought it was great got good feelings from it then got scared it was making me feel too strongly. It works though,
at first I would think about things so much it hurt my head. my brain wasn’t used to working

Give it a couple of days, everything you feel now is likely to be placebo you need time for it to build up in your system. I’m reading that it has a two to six hour half-life, that means you should feel the effects in a couple of days.
@MeghillaGorilla1’s description perfectly describes what I felt from sarcosine. I could feel a wider range of emotions but it felt like those emotions were overwhelmingly negative. this was probably caused by my anhedonia at the time. Since then I have recovered from anhedonia and haven’t tried sarcosine again. Good luck, keep updating how you feel I am thinking of trying it again.
ye for me the first couple days were kind of rough but it was much more tolerable that anti psychotics / mood stabilizers so I stuck with it and the uncomfortable feelings actually did go away in a matter of days unlike the lab rat pills
for me sarcosine has worked the way doctors always told me antipsychotics are supposed to work. and antipsychotics have always been unbarable for me

I still have my little powdercity pouches too, and I’m thinking of trying it again. Maybe now that I don’t have anhedonia it will work better. The first time I tried it sent my senses into hyperdrive and I felt like I was being overwhelmed by normal everyday ■■■■. From what @eeee has said those uncomfortable feelings might go away, just another reason I might try it again. If you try it good luck, I think it would help a lot of potential users on this forum if we posted what we were experiencing. One report like this on this website was what inspired me to first buy the stuff.
Yea I did the same thing, bought it after reading the news on this site, plus it helped that they make it so easy to get. My shrink was pissed. Said there’s no quality control but I took it anyway. It definitely had an effect. The only problem, im on Prozac too and I think the two don’t go so well together. But yea maybe push through the initial discomfort and well get results. I’m gonna hold off for a bit but curious to hear other people’s progress!
Yes in the past when the doctors said I’ll get used to the medications if I kept taking them has never been true! But with sarcosine it was! I still feel the effects from it just feels a little hyper now.
There is still some discomfort but I’ve found it to be easily managable. Still way better than true antipsychotics. Halodol pretty much made me want to slit my throat at all times this is way better.
