What does Friday the 13th mean to you?
The movie? Jason?
Bad Luck?
Maybe it means nothing to you?
Just to be on the safe side, don’t pick up any hockey masked hitchhikers if you’re out driving around today. .

According to biblical tradition, 13 guests attended the Last Supper, held on Maundy Thursday, including Jesus and his 12 apostles (one of whom, Judas, betrayed him). The next day, of course, was Good Friday, the day of Jesus’ crucifixion.
Yeah I noticed that too.
I guess the most experience I have with Friday the 13th is either the NES game I played as a kid or the weird Jason-Free TV series that ran reruns on Chiller in the 2000s.
My baby brothers birthday. I never had kids but was a teenager and 15 when he was born. I have two other younger brothers and an older sister but he was pretty special as he was the last little baby.
No issue or problem with the 13th simply because I don’t believe in any of that other stuff. But it’s my little baby bros birthday!
I don’t think there’s anything special about Friday the 13th. It’s more about when the Moon is full.
Is it true in America large buildings don’t have a 13th floor?
13 ain’t nothing but a number.
I have heard about old buildings that used to do that, I think. Also like, hotels that wouldnt make a room 13 and the like.
I don’t know that that is a practice anymore.
After looking on the internet, it still seems to be a practice.
I’m sure they do that in Australia too. Or they did!
I find that:
I’m tempted to say that is a bit silly, but I once thought I was a spiritual ghost and dead to the world so I can’t point fingers.
From what I was reading, it isn’t necessarily the people building them fearing the number 13, but the want not to scare off any people who do hold that belief from using that floor, room, etc. I think it is meant for a small percentage of the population who hold to that superstition.
not afraid of 13th…just a superstition.
Just so happens to be my birthday as well
I have learned to embrace Friday the 13ths as my bday has fallen on them oftentimes.
Friday the 13th is just superstition just as how my culture has numbers which are supposedly bad luck.
It’s just numbers, people!!!
