Are any of you superstitious about today’s date?
For me it’s just another day.

For me it’s just another day.
I got out of boot camp on Friday the 13th. Ever since then it has been a lucky day for me.
That’s pretty cool @Ridgerunner.
I apologize in advance for forgetting, but are you a Navy veteran?
Yes I was in the Navy.
Thank you for your service.
I was in the Air Force for 4 years. That was before I got ill though.
I’ll be watching out a little more than usual. I’m a little bit superstitious.
Thank you for your service. I did not make it the full four year.
Did you fly planes monte?
No I was in ‘admistration.’ LOL. (not laughing at you, just laughing at the memories of my job).
I had a kind of boring job. I got to do some additional duties that were kind of fun/cool though.
edit to add: I was going to retrain to be a helicopter pilot, but I wanted to get out and go to film school.
No, I’m not superstitious about today. It’s not just another day, though, either. It’s kind of a mini-holiday, it just makes me happy to brush by the fact of the date.
Friday the 13th has always been one of my favorite days, since I was a huge horror movie fan.
I know !
Where’s Jason ?
Just another day and a dollar less.
@Ridgerunner thank you for your service.
LOL @Rhubot I have a black cat.
@anon57786250 He’s out in the woods somewhere, be careful.
@ZombiePupper Yeah today makes me think of the movies too. I have a hoodie that says “camp crystal lake.” Haha! I got it off Amazon.
I got some pidgin blood to counter the effects
I’m not going to do anything dangerous today.
Yeah, we’re under a lightning storm watch. I was going to go to a thrift store. But my mom is tired from work.
So it’s going to be a relaxing/lazy evening for me .
Never had any problems on any Friday the 13th. Had some really bad Saturday the 14ths, though, back when we used to go out every Friday, and before I learned the “finish any night out with 1/2 litre of Coca Cola + as much water you can drink” trick…
I have no problems petting a black cat and don’t think twice about breaking a mirror. I don’t walk under ladders, though, but that’s not out of superstition, but because people working on top of ladder tend to drop things every now and then, and I don’t want to get that in my head (or wherever it might hit).
Today was my mother in laws birthday. Her and my wife walked under a ladder and opened an umbrella inside the house. They were just being goofy.
I love our military. So proud of them
