Just ordered a micro cpap device used for osa doesnt require a mask or hose or actual cpap machine its a battery operated device that inserts in your nostrils and it is supposed to help with osa and snoring with my cpap I feel like Im gasping for air with the full face mask on and having shortness of breath while using my cpap machine hope this micro device works and helps me well see once I get it will try it out and let everyone know whether it works or not I have to admit Im curious thats why I ordered it a few moments ago I checked out other options to the cpap as?well like The mouthpiece Dont think I would like it then there is?Inspire which scares me having something inserted and you push a button at night to use it no thanks.Surgery for my severe sleep apnea. Is no option for me either the only one I think I could do and stick with is the micro cpap device that I ordered
Let us know how it works for you.
Will do I should get it by July 9th maybe sooner
Good luck with it.
Thank you@Speedy
Also I heard having a Soclean hooked up to my Cpap will also cause breathing difficulties unhooked it from my machine a few minutes ago and I feel as if Im not gasping for air at the moment could of been my Soclean all along causing my breathing problems hope I can wear my mask now may have to look into other ways of cleaning my mask like maybe Cpap mask wipes which I have used before in the past and I will sell my Soclean for maybe 100 bucks online if I can obo paid like over 300 dollars for it back when I thought it a good idea to get to clean not just my mask and hose but the entire machine gets sanitized and disinfected supposedly but just read where soclean is not fda approved and not recomended to use with Cpap or to use to clean cpap equipment and that it could cause breathing difficulties and cancer dont want to take the risk have my mask on right now and I dont have it hooked up to the Soclean and already breathing a little better go figure
Good luck!! They aren’t approved by the FDA and don’t put out nearly as much pressure it seems. I really like the idea though because it seems less invasive for those that need Cpap. I hope it works for you!!
Here is what I read on them:
Thank you for posting this I saw the same thing you posted on a website that sells these micro cpap device I hope it works when I cant wear my cpap for whatever reason I will use the micro cpap device instead that way I can compare which one works better or is more effective the cpap machine I currently use or this once I get the micro device will be posting my findings and I hope the micro one works if so I will take it in place of cpap when I travel as well so I dont have to carry my cpap bag and machine with me on trips I could just pop the micro one into my purse then Im ready to use it
Sounds like a good plan!! I hope it works out great! Sounds really nice.
