Do you use mayonnaise? I don’t like vinegar so I don’t use it in the flat. But in a restaurant I can tolerate it

I like Coleman’s mustard - made with water from powder (not the vinegar made type)

Lidl here do amazing deli meats. I got a great deal on the roast beef slices. They were called trimmings - they were like little slices and bits left over when they do the meat slices which make the regular packs of meat.

Was so cheap. Man I love lidl

My current fix is whole grain bread, thin sliced tomatoes and cucumber, havarti cheese, and a bit of sriracha mayo on the bread.

I haven’t had a home made sandwich for ages. Truth be told I either don’t seem to have the motivation to make them ,or can’t think of many things besides ham or cheese to put in them.

I used to have a friend called American Jack who made the most amazing sandwiches. His parents had access to a shop on the American / British RAF base. Why are the British so bad at making sandwiches? lol, I think the best we get is chicken and bacon.

I don’t like vinegar either. Not at all. But, I love real mayonnaise. I can’t tell the vinegar in real mayonnaise. I can sense it in stuff like Miracle Whip. That stuff is terrible. Lots of vinegar.

The last I cooked, I made pot roast. It turned out delicious. I am almost done eating it up. Next, I am going to try making chicken cacciatore. I just bought all the ingredients to make it. I will get the groceries delivered this Tuesday. I am looking forward to making it.

Why don’t you keep a jar of peanut butter in the cupboard and a jar of jam in the refrigerator?
