My story is complicated but I’m just going to vent a minute.
I was taken off my AP and trihexyphenadyl due to dizziness and blacking out often and acquired gastroparesis. I was on perphenezine. Am now on zyprexa and struggling with weight gain. I can’t be on certain diabetic meds due to a history of pancreatitis. It’s really hiked up my blood sugar levels and I gained seven pounds. I’m working on my diet, but I have an eating disorder. Mentally I’m okay, and the transition was not terrible, but I’m not at my best.
I’ve also been diagnosed with what all the doctors think is brachial neuritis. I have some kind of nerve damage in my neck on my right side, that is slowly effecting use of my shoulder, arm and hand. My thumb and forefinger will not move and my shoulder is frozen and weak. My whole right side is weaker than my left. I’m terrified I’ll never regain motion of my limbs. There are no neurosurgeons in our area who specialize in this so I either go to Cleveland clinic or Johns Hopkins. Does anyone here know about this neuropathy?
