I dont understand why we should be proud of our disabilities. Seems silly. I dont think we should be ashamed…but not proud either.

I remember when pride used to be considered a sin.

You must be much older than I remember.

Pride as you’re presenting it really means arrogance.

One could be proud of surviving agonising disabilities or symptoms or treatment and getting through those days and so forth.
