I’ve always have tried to run circles around my pdoc as I never wanted her to up the dose. She was nice to me and she’s done it well. Now that I’m on a high dose I feel much better.
I wish I had just believed her for such a long time

I used to purposely take lower doses with the doctor’s permission in order to keep the weight down so I could work a physical job. But later I accepted the higher doses so my mind could take breaks from the voices other than when I slept and read books. Predictably my weight ballooned and it became impossible to work a physical job any more and now I don’t work at all as my options dried up. The periodic silence is nice however…
