I know this is petty but I happily imagine myself asking the wives of the writers on those detective shows for an affair because of the awful crap they say about schizophrenics all the time it just seems like someones got a mental illness and thats the only reason they could be driven to crime, and its obnoxious. I just wish that I had the energy to seek that sort of petty revenge and that I was socially savvy enough to lay those poor women.

Don’t feel bad, it’s not just us, it’s everyone. There are people who are a part of every demographical group that talk sh*t about all other groups. In other words there is not one group that gets away without being spoken bad about.
There are people from any given group that attack people from any other given group. Gay people, black people, Muslims, Jews, White men, women, rich, poor, etc… no one is immune. So don’t get so down about the world hating you and only you because you have schizophrenia. There is definitely a stigma associated with schizophrenia, and it is pretty bad, but tt can be a nasty world sometimes.for pretty much everyone.
I don’t even go to news sources anymore. I never read the news unless someone on this forum posts a link to something non-violence related.
I can’t handle the news. It makes me so paranoid and upset.
