Right now it’s -33 F (-36 C). It’s so cold that your fingers and toes hurt after less than 5 minutes outside and my dog starts “tri-podding” almost immediately when i take her outside. It’s also weird how you can hear sounds from farther away when it’s so cold. They say that the auroras are gonna be out tonight but who wants to stand outside and have their fingers fall off? It’s gonna warm up next week to above zero and i can’t wait to go for a walk…my winter gear is okay, but it’s not designed for long periods of extreme cold. I’m just gonna cuddle up on the couch with the dog and give thanks that I’m not homeless in this cold snap!

That’s pretty darn cold. Be safe.
We only have like -27°c in the northern parts of my country at the moment.
It’s -12°c where I live, on the west coast of Sweden. Not that cold.
What breed is your dog?

Shadow is a Border Collie/Lab mix. She’s black with a white chest, paws, and snout, with a little white tip on her tail. She’s about 55 lbs. Here’s a pic of her waiting for the new ball she got for Christmas.
