Last August, I had my bypass surgery. I thought I’d share a photo of what I looked like in June of 2024 vs this morning. Please note it’s just a face pic. I don’t have full body shots to share, which is too bad. Anyhow, 90 lbs down and still going strong!

Wow, your face has trimmed up quite a bit. Congrats. You look nice in both photos but there is no denying the drastic weight loss in your face alone in the second photo. You look great and Im sure its a boon to your health as well.

You are right about my health, Bowens. It’s helped my knees, and I can get around easier now than I have in a long time. Prior to the weight loss, injections didn’t really help me. Now that I don’t have so much weight bearing down on my knees, the injections are working very nicely! I’m hoping to postpone my knee replacements for a few years at least, especially since I can get some measure of pain relief from the corticosteroids and viscosupplementation.

@Wonderer Thank you for the compliment. I have gotten compliments in person but only when wearing blue contacts. I’d be at a store, get a compliment, feel all good about myself, go outside to the car eventually, glance up at the rearview mirror… and see that I’m wearing blue contacts, and it wasn’t my eyes they liked at all!

you look wonderful, 90 lbs down is an incredible achievement, and the difference is visible even from just seeing face, i hope you feel as good about it as you look, because health is certainly benefitting, and your features are able to shine
