Anyone here who knows me quite well knows I’ve mentioned entertaining delusional thoughts about female body parts in the past. In a less stable state of mind this would take “N.B. the phenotype predictions for you below are possibly no better than random” and create a “I knew I was right” state of mind .

Medication helps for the most part

Compared to most people here I’m not sure what I’ve experienced are full blown delusions or just intensely over strong,episodic odd thoughts. The vast majority used to be about having female parts. Since regular medication I’ve not had those thoughts. Medication helps therefore it must’ve been delusion thinking? The one that remains and is probably? more intense anxiety than delusion is the bedtime triggered “There’s someone else in the flat”. It’s easy to reality test , but still a very incessant thought. That happens less frequently,but hasn’t totally gone. All in all though medication does a reasonable job when it comes to such things . It’s certainly a lot better than nothing.

Doc thinks I'm not experiencing psychosis because I have insight

I also had insight into psychosis. I’d hear alien screaming at me that I’m psychotic and I’d say to him I’m not but looking back in think I must have been I have intrusive thoughts a lot and it falls under delusions which is psychotic symptom Basically my pdoc would explain I’m not psychotic but am experiencing psychotic symptoms

I constantly question whether I've been psychotic

I read posts by people here and think I’ve never been as ill as that . For sure there’s been some funny thoughts like entertaining the possibility of having female sexual parts and thinking if I try hard enough I can have female orgasms, sensing presence in my flat though there is no way anyone can get in apart from my stepdaughter unless I let them in,hearing what sounds like voices when the toilet flushes, false memories, paranoid thinking ,reduced rationality under stress,imagining inanimate objects are going to start talking to me, but a complete break from reality ?! I’ve never thought I lost it completely. Still would they put me on a depot if there was no psychotic thinking is the b…

Many people aren’t strictly XX or XY. The idea of a gender binary based on a sex binary is deeply flawed.

If you open a bank account or any other formal government thing you are asked if you are male or female.

I don’t doubt that at all. However if there was anything outside the norm with me that way they’d have found it long ago.
