Very Young, i was.
Grandmother woke me up that morning with the news after the first strike. We sat glued to the news for days during the aftermath.
I was a teen, budding schizoaffective, homeschooled, and helping to take care of my grandmother with cancer.
It changed how secure I feel in my own country. Scared me.
In Nitro West Virginia is a nuclear power plant. We started talking about āWhat if they strike there next?ā
Yes you seem really matureā¦how old are you??
Iām 35 now, was 16 when it happened.
Okay I seeā¦I know lots of people dont know excactly what happens around themā¦nuclear meltdown or whateverā¦but some things makes us more alikeā¦yes??
I was attending military reform high school in california. I remember they made all the students change into our pe uniforms out of our military uniforms. we watched it unfold on tv
I was just getting to school when a classmate told my dad what happened to the Pentagon.
I was 10 y.o. and didnāt speak english or french back then.
Ten years old? It mustāve scared the crap out of you.
Fun story. Nuclear plants have been build to withstand a plane crash since the 50s

it cut off what it broadcasting
for me i was watching tv at this time
I was numb and donāt remember doing anything special about it. I was living in semi independent housing and was glad I wasnāt alone.
I donāt remember this at all. The day it happened. Well I remember feeling excited in a weird way like adrenaline
Didnāt NYC get sympathy cards from all over the world? I think they did
Lol. OK Yoda!,ā¦
I was on the bus going to the pdoc when i heard. I was having apocolyptic delusions at the time so it was all pretty strange.
I was in year 6 I believe. So I would be around 10. I remember not believing my Mum when I got into the car on the way home. I thought she was trying to play a trick on me. I just didnāt think that kind of thing could happen.
And without going into detail, the more Iāve learned about it the more sceptical I am about the truth.
@anon1517417 I am so sorry to hear you lost a loved one in the 9/11 attacksā¦
I was living with my sister and watching a morning show and then they went to narration over the footage of the towers being hitā¦I was live when they turned on the first tower burning and then the second plane hit and I knew it was terrorismā¦their stupid jihadā¦
Itās weird how much time can go but most seem to remember vividly that day even though it was nearly two decades ago.
