I was working with my dad, I was in shock from looking at that
I was in pre-school. I really don’t remember it.
I had just gotten home from school, 6th grade, and turned on the tv just in time to see the second plane crash. I had no idea what the twin towers were, nor the magnitude of what happened, but I had a sense it was serious and important
It was my first day back to work. I was in a car accident where I broke 2 neck bones, 1 back bone, ribs, both left arm bones, and my left wrist in 3 places.
They sent us all home from work. I watched the news all day, in shock. One of our clients was in one of the towers. We were sending files, and they all started error in out.
Recess in 5th Grade. I remember coming back in from recess and seeing the teachers gathering around the tv and watching it. Classmates started getting checked out. I didn’t even know what was happening or what the World Trade Centers were. I specifically remember seeing images of people jumping out of the building. Pretty traumatic times. Hope to never see that again.
I was in school
I was in bed, waking up to a radio news alarm informing me of the tragedy.
Not the best way to wake up… That’s for sure.
i was in high school. mr fletcher’s humanities class. junior year i think. he turned it on and we watched both tower’s fall.
I was working at my job as a special ed aide in a 3rd grade class.
The principal called us out into the hallway to tell us.
It was a scary and sad time.
I was taking care of my daughter at home. It was so shocking. I just sat in my family room and stared at the tv for a while. I was so concerned for the safety and well-being of my little baby girl.
i also remember where i was when the “shock and awe” campaign started. and the neverending wars that would later disillusion me.
I had a pdoc appointment that day. As I was getting ready to go, I turned on the tv to catch the weather. Never did find out what the weather was going to be.
I was in a friends house just after getting there and we turned on the tv
Gosh this is going to sound awful…
I was in bed with my now-hubby after sneaking him into the apartment while my mom was gone. We had just had sex, and we turned on the TV. Now-hubby was so shocked. He had just gotten out of the military, and it hit him really hard. I was young and stupid and didn’t understand the severity of the attack.
4th grade. We got out early. My mom picked my sister and I up and told us. after that I remember vh1 music video being interrupted saying we were at war.
I was working when a friend sent me a message to watch the news, a plane had crashed. That was bfore the seco d plane hit and i saw that live.
I was a sophomore in college.
It was in my morning class, Gender, Sex and Society, where I found out.
I was sleeping on my moms couch and she woke me up and told me.
I was at work as a group home manager. I’d always turn on news when I got there. And it had just happened right then. It was horrifying and riveting.
