Any other motorcycle riders on here?
So far no other bikers ,I get it when I’m not symptomless I always feel like I could crash at anytime and it’s not very enjoyable to ride.
Yeah, no motorcycles for me. The closest I ever came to that would be riding a three-wheeler as a kid. I just wouldn’t feel safe. My cousin is all into Harleys; he works as a painter for a motorcycle shop.
I always thought that one little mistake could send me to the hospital on a bike so I never wanted to get one.
Well, I used to ride a Honda Shadow VLX cruising motorcycle, 600cc engine, but I got road shy after a guy ran a stop sign and I laid it down and broke my left humerus and some ribs. It was a big bike for someone only 5’3", female. It sure was nice til that moment.
Did you ride pre or post sz?
Post-sza…but I was a bit of a risk taker even then.
I even did the black leather jacket and half-helmet look with the mirrored sunglasses…but truthfully my elbow still doesn’t work right to this day. I really do miss it, but it’s too cold here to ride most of the year. I’m too old and poor now! I was always too fat for chaps lol.
Are you from Alaska?
Yes. I reside in Fairbanks, Alaska.
i’m a motorcycle rider ,i’ve been riding for around 17 years
I’m jealous it looks nice there.
Currently riding? What kind of bike?
I used to have a Harley FatBoy.
Used to ride it all the time in Southern California.
Then I moved and it’s now too hot to ride. I prefer the air conditioner in my car. I sold the bilke but every now and again when the weather is nice I miss it.
This was my bike
Please stop riding on a motorcycle, it is very dangerous!
You are dozens of times more likely to get killed/injured than a car driver!
Thanks for the concern but there is really not much I enjoy in life, not that I don’t enjoy life but have very few pleasures due to the meds. Motorcycle is one of them I’m extremely cautious and not a hot rodder so I’m sure that helps my chances a bit. As a lot ,not all, but most are due to driving erratically. Been there done that have become a little wise I hope.
Currently riding a yamaha fz1n …had it 4 years covered 25k on it
That’s some serious miles
