It used to be, everyone I knew was evil

Now everyone seems good. I think the ppl on this board are good regardless. But I’m not sure what it was. Was it me, that when I was seemingly weak people took advantage of me? And now I’m stronger so they don’t mess with me and are much nicer?? I don’t think society has changed. Or maybe I’m surrounded by different people now. But in college everybody was evil now people seem alright.

Sometimes I said in the past “just cuz I’m better now, I shouldn’t forgive them for years of abuse”. It’s me that changed,and got better not them.

I wish I had this board when I was at my worst because I feel everyone here is supportive. But as far as real life, people are only nice when you need it least. It’s backwards. Another bigjon happy rant /complaining!!

I try to avoid generalizations. People can be good or bad, or a mix of both. Also, evil kids sometimes turn out to be nice adults. It varies.

But seeing the good in every person is a rare gift and should be cherished.
