I don’t think being a narcissist is the worst thing in the world. People say that you have to love yourself in order to love other people.

Based upon you recognizing you could be a narcissist means you aren’t one. Narcissists can’t identify they have a problem.

Anyway, I don’t think it’s smart to call someone a narcissist even if it is true. I mean, even if it is,does saying it help anything at all?
I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Just try to notice ways you can help people here and there. You’ll get over it.

some analysts actually say that narcissism is at the core of schizophrenia.
I think yeah sort of, with the grandiose delusions. But not really. No, narcissists are more like mean.
Some people have been all like “Mouse is a narcissist” but really that whole perfection thing is just my trade card- have to do it, it is my job.
I am more real on here, and with people who arent gonna get involved with career plans.

Weren’t you freaking out that you thought your ex was a narcissistic or something like that? Maybe that is a delusion that you are having. You could participate in threads that aren’t about you. That could take some away from that feeling. Maybe do something nice for somebody without letting them know it was you.

Mentioned it before the main theory of narcissism is traumatic abandonment come to terms with the abandonment the narcissism dissipates.
A false breakthrough is referred to one pivotal moment of all your problems as it’s usually a combination of things.
Main breakthrough for me was watch Good Will Hunting as the whole movie is about Will dealing with his abandonment issues.
I had a relationship with a true narcissist and I think you would know if you are one. This guy actually said “There may be other good looking guys in the world, but they aren’t better looking than me.” he was extremely manipulative to get what he wanted and totally lacked empathy. He never took accountability for the damage or pain he caused. Absolutely everything was about him and his needs even if it hurt others. This is what I tell people about that relationship; “I loved him and he loved him. Unfortunately nobody loved me.” I seriously doubt you are a true narcissist.

I’m the schizophrenic version of a narcissist. I hate myself and I think about other people.
I don’t think he’s a Narcissist but he was a liar and manipulative too
