It’s been a while

But I feel sad again today.

Maybe it’s because I ate too much.

Because I have gained some weight.

Because my stocks didn’t do well today.

Because I felt too anxious to study.

Many potential reasons, but my old friend is back with me again.

Hoping that tomorrow will be better.

How are you feeling today?

I hope you feel better @TheFountainPen

I’m doing well. Going to head down to the basement in the next hour or two and lift some weights & jog on the treadmill.

It’s supposed to rain a ton here tomorrow.

Hello Jonathan,

I couldn’t be feeling better.

My stocks didn’t go up a lot today, either. Like, in the past 3 months I made a 100 percent return on my portfolio, though. I was elated, even jubilant, but I know that the party has to be over some time as such returns cannot continue forever.

I hope you feel better, another day, a fresh perspective on life.

That’s nice that you have a mini gym in the basement.

A 100% return in 3 months. Nice!

I would take some profits though.

Feel better soon Jonathan!

Yeah man! Saves me a ton of money instead of having a gym membership. Not knocking people that have a gym membership, its still a great thing but I prefer to simply walk down to my basement and exercise.

If I remember correctly, you are tapering one of your meds? How is that going?

I’m going tonight to 5 mg of clozapine. That’s the last step before I can quit and will only be on 2 meds.

Could play a role on my brain chemistry though. I had some anxiety recently and today some sadness.

Enjoy your time in your private gym !

I took all the profit, after which It was around a 100 percent return.

Now I closed those trades, but have been opening new trades lately, albeit without much luck so far.

I also have an investment account and it also did pretty good in terms of returns (like a 40 percent return in 3 months). I applied all the techniques I learnt from “The Intelligent Investor” in the investment account (which I believe I recommended to you to read, as well). Benjamin Graham, the author of the book, is not only my teacher but also Warren Buffet’s. He is the investment philosopher, so to speak.

Clozapine is a very tough medication to come off.

I was on it for 4 years or so, and then I have been switching medications ever since.

I wish for you the best - as Clozapine is also a tough medication to be on (too many side effects). If you can come off it incident free, you should be elated. I am glad I came off it, and I hope it remains that way in the future.

The tapering of clozapine doesn’t seem to have a big impact on voices but mainly on anxiety.

I’ll be glad when it will be behind me. I’m not going back. I would in the future only consider taking clozapine as a PRN when I need to sleep because of too many symptoms.

I see.

I would take even 50 mgs of Clozapine and would go to sleep in 5 minutes for 12 hours.

But, it was impossible to work on it, sleeping 12 hours a night, and then feeling tired all day. A lot of other side effects as well.

Regarding voices, Clozapine also only had a partial impact on the voices, but Abilify wiped them out for me.

Yeah. I’m still sleeping 11-12 hours a night even on a very low dose.

I hope it to better soon.

Ideally I would sleep 9 hours more or less.

When I was on 200 mg I slept 16 hours. Can’t believe that I did that for years.

Yeah, in fact I was on 800 mgs Clozapine for a good while. I am happy that you are coming off it. It has too many side effects.

Which other medications are you on?

I take 12 mg of Invega and 150 mg of Wellbutrin.

I see.

Invega didn’t even work as a placebo for me. It is the only drug approved by the FDA for Schizoaffective. I have SZA, and yet it didn’t work for me at all.

Different things work for different people.

I haven’t tried it with Abilify, though, I wonder if it can work that way. Like LAtuda didn’t work for me alone, but when I took it with Abilify, the combination worked. Unfortunately, Latuda had too much weight gain for me and I switched.

Yuuugh weight things are annoying. I simply cannot lose it, so I feel ya.
Anxiety is a serious thing. I hope you’ll find a way to cope with it.
