Need to sleep is Zzyquil safe to take?
I wouldn’t use it but it’s probably safe.

There’s another type that is similar to Benadryl. Do you think that will be safe?
I cant really say, never had sleep issues and never tried sleeping aids. But I dont think Melatonin, chamomile and lavender cause issues, many on the forum take Melatonin.
I used to take Benadryl every night for sleep and my doctor said to stop and only use it on occasion.
I think as long as you don’t use it nightly, you’re ok.
But check with your doctor to make sure.
It’s probably either “Doxylamine Succinate” or “Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride” as the active ingredient. Both are anti-histamines and are generally safe for short term use. Doxylamine is quite a bit stronger, it’s what I use, although the product name is “Unisom”, I use it quite a bit, less likely to build up a tolerance.
Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride is just Benadryl but I heard tolerance can build up quickly.
