Is your last name hard to pronounce?

My last name is Albanian and it’s a very unique name with a few thousand people carrying this name around the world.
It’s not easy to read or pronounce
Me and my brother pronounce it the same way while my father’s pronunciation is different than ours.
Do you have a common last name?
Or a more unique last name?

Mine is fairly unique. But very easy to pronounce. I have no idea where it comes from but I’m sure slavery has something to do with it because it is certainly not of African origin.

My last name is French. Some English speakers struggle with it. For Dutch speakers it’s not an issue.

It’s not so bad to pronounce but it is hard to spell. I always have to spell my name when I tell someone my name and it needs to be spelled

But if you read my name you would be able to pronounce it easily… usually

It’s not a common last name at all. From my research online, it’s only found in the U.S

My dad is full blooded Italian so I have an Italian last name. If you live in the United states and have this name we are related. Apparently there are some people in Italy that have the same name. It’s not hard to pronounce just unusual.

There are about 6-million people who have the same last name/family name/surname as I. As with the majority of Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese words, my last name is a one syllable word pronunciation. Variations of pronunciation are dependent on the region my last name is spoken but how my last name is written remains the same.
