Is this thought disorder?

So for a while my head has been feeling like scrambled eggs. Feels frantic racy etc. Also it’s like a sentence starts then midway disappears and a new sentence begins and follows suit. Also I think of something and it disappears from my head fast. Another thing is my memory is so bad People keep on saying that I repeat myself a lot only over a small amount of time.

They think I have tangential speaking when I talk about my ‘dlusions’ but clearly I am coherent so I’m confuzzled.

Well you’re at first talking about problems you are experiencing thinking but then you go on to say you are coherent? I’m just curious what you were thinking.

I thought you could only be incone rent talking not in your mind.

these things sound coherent to us when we are experiencing a break from reality. Our thoughts feel real but please try not to let this fool you. If you are starting sentences and starting another without finishing your trail of thought , it may sound incoherent to another. Because you’re not finishing what you are saying. If i am understanding what you are explaining correctly.

It’s more prominent in my head.like I can have a normal lineare conversation with someone. But as soon as there are mentions of anything to do with my delusions I go off track.but I’m constantly got the internal stuff I mentioned in the original post and it makes my head hurts.

@princess what ever you are going through right now sounds terrible. You must be having a lot of distress being in the hospital right now. As I’ve been reading your posts I’ve noticed you seem stressed. Since you are there and there really isn’t much you can do about it at the moment, I think now would be a good time to try and rest. Rest your body and mind. Try not to work yourself up into such an anxious state. Try to trust the dr and nurses to help you begin to heal. If you want maybe they will let you carry around paper and pen so every time you have a question you can write it down. Maybe one of the nurses can help you organize the questions. Then when you talk to the pdoc you’ll have a list of the most important questions. This will help him see what med might be best to add next. In a way that will be helping them help you. Good luck sweetheart and take good care of yourself.

it sounds like some form of thought disorder, possibly derailment. if you are coherent i dont think there is any issue, you just have to go through this strange experience. it could be a combination of thought disorder and negative symptoms, with the thought disorder being thought blocking and derailment and the negative symptoms being poverty of thought and speech. thats what it sounds like to me.

I would say that you have some thought disorders and also cognitive symptoms if you have problems with your memory.

I think I wrote something similar last month:

Yes that’s exactly how it is for me!!! Since I come off the clozapine about 3-4 weeks ago it’s become progressively worse to the point of a headache. I can also see my thoughts which is hard to ex plain

Why did you come off the clozapine? Was it sudden? I can’t remember for sure but it seems like the hand problem has been particularly prominent in your mind in the last couple weeks.

Came off it about 3-4 weeks ago but even on it I had problems with the hands .I just stopped it all ofor a sudden then progressively thing have beconomic worder.

It seems like you are going through a horrible time. I agree with tera 110%. Doctors can be intimidating at times, so writing down your questions in advance can be a benefit. There have been times that I could barely speak because of psychosis causing a lack of thought organization. Also, what the “outside world” does not realize is that delusions are as stressful as the real thing because they are real to us. Finding stress coping methods for the delusion can be just as important as any stressful event in your life. Do you have a peer support center where you live? NAMI Connection meetings (meetings where you can get peer support) may also be helpful. The meetings are free, and other members may have been through similar things. Maybe contact your local NAMI and see if they have meetings in your area. Good luck and take care.

I live in new Zealand. My medical team are very good. I accept I need a break but I don’t accept that these hands are mine.
