Is this going to be on my record?

There was a warrant issued that meant I was going to be involuntarily committed for 30 days. Thankfully I showed up at my pdocs office and showed I wasn’t a danger to myself or others so they didn’t see a hospitalization necessary.

Is the warrant going to be on my record?

I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think so. I think only convictions appear on your record.

The police know what you’ve been charged with and not convicted, that sticks with you forever. A criminal background check for employment won’t turn up anything that isn’t a conviction, however.
