You trying to block me??

Just kidding,

I know there’s a silence option but I’m not sure how it works.

Can’t you just skip over those posts?

You can mute posters. Their replies will still show up in topics you track, but you won’t get notifications from them and their original topics won’t show up in your feed. I think. I’ve never used it, personally.

How do you mute them,

Where’s the option?

Under preferences: notifications

I manually mute threads that are too psycho. If you mute a person you will still see their posts :frowning:

My page for notifications doesn’t look like that or offer an option to mute. I went through all the pages and it only shows me the notifications I’ve gotten. It won’t dismiss them either.

Its your preferences page

I hit the wrong one. Got it now.

I agree, and would love such a feature.

Unfortunately, Discourse doesn’t have this feature. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. :frowning:

(You actually can block a user if you use uBlock and can read HTML, but I can’t guarantee it wouldn’t have side effects.)
