Is the glass half full or half empty?

Gave me a glass that was filled half way up and asked is it half empty or half full

I say what is in the glass

do I have to fill it with the same thing

how long do I have to fill it up before it evaporates or goes bad or is consumed

I filled it with diamonds and said it is full

someone took the diamonds and now it is empty

I filled it with peanuts and a pack of squirrels said it became empty again

so I filled it with love and said now whoever can not fill this cup back up is empty

what good is love if there is nothing to put it in

So now I will try to make my own glass as I am thirsty

I am an optimist. I will take a glass that is half filled. Maybe the glass is a big glass.
